Bodega Aleanna – El Enemigo Wines from Mendoza, Argentina

Discover El Enemigo Wines – Artisan Argentine Wines from High-Altitude Vineyards
Bodega Aleanna, the winery behind the acclaimed El Enemigo and Gran Enemigo labels, was founded in 2010 by Adrianna Catena and renowned winemaker Alejandro Vigil. Their partnership combines a deep respect for Argentina’s viticultural heritage with a bold commitment to innovation and terroir-driven winemaking. Located in the foothills of the Andes in Mendoza, the vineyards are planted at elevations between 930 and 1,470 metres above sea level. These high-altitude sites create dramatic temperature shifts between day and night, allowing grapes to ripen slowly while retaining exceptional freshness and complexity.

The El Enemigo project is rooted in the philosophy that great wine emerges from both tradition and challenge. The name “El Enemigo,” meaning “the enemy,” symbolises the internal struggle to push beyond convention and continually improve the craft of winemaking. Today, Bodega Aleanna produces some of Argentina’s most celebrated wines, particularly its Cabernet Franc-led blends. Standout bottles such as Gran Enemigo have received international acclaim for their elegance, depth, and remarkable ageing potential.

Our collection features a curated selection of El Enemigo and Gran Enemigo wines from Mendoza’s most exciting vineyards. These limited-production wines are perfect for collectors, enthusiasts, and anyone looking to explore the very best of modern Argentine fine wine.
