• Malbec: Sandy loam with a limestone base and rocky profile
• Cabernet Franc: Calcareous, rocky soil
• Petit Verdot: Fine sandy soil
• Cabernet Sauvignon: Deep sandy soil
Fermented in oak barrels at controlled temperatures (average 22°C), this blend undergoes:
• Cold maceration for 5 days
• Extended maceration for 23 days
• 30% whole bunch fermentation
• Five separate harvest times over 1.5 months
The wine is aged 15 months in century-old French oak foudres, allowing for complex development while maintaining vibrant acidity and elegance.
