Estate-Grown in Piccadilly Valley, Adelaide Hills
Sourced from south-facing vineyards in the ultra-cool sub-region of Piccadilly Valley, this wine reflects the complexity of its terroir. The vines grow in quartz-rich, coarse-grained yellow clays over sandstone, ideal conditions for crafting expressive, high-acid Chardonnay.
Low-Yielding Vintage with Exceptional Character
The 2020 vintage was small in yield but rich in concentration. Cool ripening conditions throughout February ensured small, flavour-packed berries with naturally high acidity, leading to exceptional structure and depth.
Traditional Winemaking with Modern Precision
Hand-picked and crafted with care, only the free-run juice was used to preserve purity. Fermented in French oak barriques (40% new) for 10 months with partial malolactic conversion, this Chardonnay balances finesse, texture, and complexity.
