2024 Growing Season – Tuscany
Unlike some recent years, the 2024 growing season in Tuscany was very favourable overall:
Early winter and spring brought beneficial rains that replenished soil water reserves without disrupting early vine growth.
A warm, sunny April and ideal conditions through May–June supported strong flowering and fruit set.
July’s warmth and a mid‑month weather front in August, plus cool nights, helped promote even ripening and balanced phenolic development (flavour, colour and tannin) in the grapes.
