Harvested by hand between early and late September, the Merlot grapes were carefully selected for quality and vinified in temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats to preserve their aromatic richness.
After 12 months of ageing in French oak barriques (10% new), and an additional 3 months of bottle refinement, Cont’Ugo 2020 emerges as a wine of complexity and finesse.
