Telmo Rodríguez, famed for his iconic Remelluri wines, is celebrated as one of Spain’s greatest winemakers. Launching his own boutique Spanish wine business in the 1990s alongside fellow winemaker Pablo Eguzkiza, Telmo co-founded Compañia de Vinos with a clear mission: to produce authentic wines using exclusively native Spanish grape varieties.
Passionate about Spanish indigenous grape wines and reviving forgotten vineyards, Telmo Rodríguez and his expert team have been pioneers in uncovering the unique terroir of Spain’s diverse wine regions. While Spain has only recently begun to embrace its native grape heritage, Telmo’s commitment to small-batch Spanish native wines puts him well ahead of the trend.
Working together with local vineyard growers, the winery manages around 355 small vineyard plots across 80 hectares, cultivating 43 different varieties of rare Spanish grapes. Each wine reflects a genuine sense of place and tradition, perfect for lovers of authentic, artisanal Spanish wines.
