Named after the Talò families of San Marzano, who lovingly tend each vineyard like a personal garden, this wine honours traditional craftsmanship and the unique terroir of Southern Italy.
The vineyard is situated at an altitude of approximately 100 meters above sea level, benefiting from significant diurnal temperature variations that ensure a slow, even ripening process. The clayey, rocky soil promotes deep root growth and exceptional flavour concentration in the Malvasia Nera grapes. Harvested in mid-September, these grapes are the foundation for a richly structured wine.
The winemaking process involves a temperature-controlled maceration lasting around 10 days, allowing for optimal extraction of colour, aroma, and body. Fermentation uses selected yeasts, followed by maturation in French oak barrels for 4 to 6 months, adding layers of subtle complexity and vanilla undertones.
