Discover the refined elegance of San Marzano 'Edda Lei Bianco', Salento 2022
A premium white wine from Puglia, Italy. Crafted from grapes grown in vineyards located 100 metres above sea level, this exceptional wine benefits from ideal diurnal temperature shifts—warm days for optimal sugar development and cool nights to retain vibrant acidity.
The vineyard's shallow, well-textured soils and Guyot-trained vines (at 4,500 vines per hectare) ensure concentrated, high-quality fruit. The winemaking process includes gentle destemming, cold maceration, fermentation in French oak barrels, and ageing on fine lees for four months with weekly batonnage. This meticulous care enhances the wine's texture, depth, and aromatic complexity.
Tasting Notes:
San Marzano Edda Lei Bianco is a beautifully balanced white wine with aromas of sun-ripened peach, floral notes, and subtle vanilla from oak ageing. The palate is fresh and rounded, finishing with a delicate touch of minerality, making it an ideal choice for lovers of elegant, food-friendly whites.
Perfect For:
• Pairing with seafood, poultry, and creamy pasta dishes
• Gifting to wine enthusiasts or adding to your cellar.
• Enjoying on a warm evening as a luxurious white wine experience
