Experience the elegance of Marchesi Antinori Bramito della Sala 2023 Chardonnay, a premium white wine crafted from the vineyards surrounding the historic Castello della Sala in Umbria, Italy. Made exclusively from estate-grown Chardonnay grapes, this vintage reflects the rich, clay-limestone soils with fossil deposits that give the wine its signature minerality and finesse.
Vintage Profile
The 2023 growing season began with a mild winter and light rainfall, followed by a wet spring that slowed early vine development. A warm summer with ideal day-night temperature swings led to perfectly ripened fruit, harvested in late August to early September. The grapes arrived at the winery healthy, aromatic, and balanced, ensuring exceptional quality.
Vinification
After gentle destemming and a cold maceration to preserve aromas, the juice was fermented in a mix of stainless steel and oak barrels. Select lots underwent malolactic fermentation for added creaminess and complexity. The final blend was crafted to highlight the purity of Chardonnay with a subtle oak influence.
Tasting Notes:
• Colour: Bright straw yellow
• Nose: Aromas of Golden Delicious apples, hawthorn blossom, lemon pastry cream, vanilla, and biscuit
• Palate: A creamy texture with vibrant acidity and delicate notes of citron zest, showcasing the full varietal expression of Chardonnay with finesse and balance.
Perfect Pairings:
Enjoy with roast chicken, creamy pasta dishes, seafood risotto, or soft cheeses like Brie or Camembert.

Discover Six Centuries of Tuscan Winemaking with the Antinori Family Wines
Experience the legacy of one of Italy’s most iconic wine producers, the Antinori family, whose winemaking heritage in Tuscany spans over 600 years and 26 generations. Since 1385, the Antinori family has crafted fine Italian wines that reflect both ancient tradition and a pioneering spirit of innovation.
Originally silk traders in 12th-century Florence, the Antinori’s transitioned to winemaking and quickly gained international acclaim. By the 16th century, Antinori wines were being exported to France, Flanders, Spain, and North Africa, establishing a global reputation for quality Italian wine exports.
A major milestone in their journey was the acquisition of the Tignanello Estate in 1900, which sparked a new era of innovation and growth. Today, Antinori is celebrated as one of the top Tuscan wine producers, with prestigious vineyards in Piedmont, Lombardy, Umbria, and Puglia.
The Antinori vineyards cover nearly 1,400 hectares of premium vineyard land in Tuscany and Umbria, producing world-renowned wines such as Tignanello, Solaia and Badia a Passignano.
As Marchese Piero Antinori states, “Ancient roots play an important role in our philosophy, but they have never held back our spirit of innovation.”
Whether you're seeking premium red wines from Tuscany or iconic Italian white wines for your collection, the Antinori family continues to define excellence in Italian winemaking.
