• Location: Vistalba, Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza
• Varietals: 94% Malbec, 6% Petit Verdot
• Vine Age: ~30 years
Vinification
The grapes are hand-picked in the early morning to preserve freshness, sorted carefully, and cold-macerated for 3–5 days at 10–12°C. Fermentation takes place in 6,000L stainless steel tanks with a combination of delestage and pump-over techniques to enhance complexity and extraction. Post-fermentation, this Argentinian Malbec is aged in French oak barrels for 12 months. During this time, malolactic fermentation adds softness and roundness to the palate.
After ageing, the wine is stabilised, filtered, and bottled to preserve its elegant character and ageing potential.
Tasting Notes
Expect a rich, full-bodied Malbec with an intense nose of ripe black fruits, oak spices, and subtle herbal notes. The palate is complex and balanced, showcasing velvety tannins and a long, lingering finish. This is a wine built for both special occasions and fine dining experiences.
