Vintage Overview – 2021 Growing Season:
The 2021 vintage benefited from a mild winter and dry summer, resulting in small, concentrated grapes with exceptional ripeness and complexity. The long, sunny harvest period allowed for precise picking at peak maturity, ensuring optimal quality across all varietals.
Vinification & Ageing:
Each grape variety was fermented separately in small stainless-steel tanks to preserve its distinct character. Following malolactic fermentation, the wine was aged for 10 months—partly in used barriques from Ornellaia and partly in concrete tanks—achieving the ideal balance of fruit purity and tannic structure.
