Greywacke Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2024 – Premium New Zealand White Wine
Discover the refined elegance of Greywacke Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2024, a standout New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc crafted from select vineyards across Marlborough’s renowned Southern Valleys and Wairau Plains – including the prestigious Rapaura, Renwick, and Woodbourne sub-regions.
Vineyard & Terroir
Grown on a mix of alluvial and clay-loam soils rich in iconic greywacke river stones, this Sauvignon Blanc reflects the true essence of Marlborough terroir. Expertly managed with Scott Henry and vertical shoot positioning trellising, the fruit benefits from optimal sun exposure and air flow.
Vintage 2024 Conditions
Despite early spring challenges and a declared drought in March, the 2024 vintage delivered exceptionally ripe, disease-free fruit. Thanks to El Niño’s warm, dry summer and cool February nights, grapes achieved perfect balance—concentrated flavour, vibrant acidity, and pristine ripeness.
Winemaking & Vinification
Harvested under the cool night sky starting March 16th, grapes were gently pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks using cultured yeast. Lees aging extended until June, building complexity and mouthfeel before blending.
Tasting Notes
This 2024 Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc bursts with aromas of honeydew melon, orange blossom, and subtle herbal nuances. The palate is bright and zesty, with juicy citrus, cassis, and a textured mid-palate. Notes of pastis and wildflowers bring depth and elegance to every sip.
Perfect For
Ideal for lovers of aromatic white wines with crisp acidity and layered flavours. Enjoy it chilled with seafood, fresh salads, goat cheese, or as an aperitif.
Discover Greywacke Wines – Artisan New Zealand Wines by Kevin Judd

Kevin Judd was a pioneering force behind the global rise of Marlborough as a world-class wine region, and Greywacke is his personal vision brought to life.
The name "Greywacke" refers to the distinctive greywacke river stones found in the soils of Judd’s first vineyard in Rapaura, Marlborough. This layered sedimentary rock of sandstone and mudstone reflects the terroir-driven approach behind each bottle.
