Acquired by Domaine Faiveley in 2007, this exclusive plot spans 5.87 hectares with a prime east to southeast exposure, featuring rich clay and limestone soils that create the perfect terroir for growing exceptional Pinot Noir grapes.
The vines, planted in 1955 and 1959, yield grapes that are hand-harvested with meticulous care. Winemaking is carried out in partnership with trusted local producers, where each cuvée is carefully selected by expert oenologists. The wine is then matured for 9 months in oak barrels within 19th-century vaulted cellars, ensuring ideal conditions for ageing and enhancing complex flavours.
The 2020 vintage is marked by a warm climate balanced with freshness, producing a wine free from over-ripeness. With an unusually warm winter, spring frosts, and a dry summer, the grapes were harvested early between August 19 and September 1, resulting in a beautifully balanced vintage full of vibrant red and black fruit aromas, complemented by subtle spicy undertones and a refined oak finish.
