Vintage 2023 Overview
The 2023 vintage was marked by challenging weather conditions, including an exceptionally wet spring followed by a hot, dry summer. Despite these extremes, the vines thrived under organic viticulture practices, resulting in a white wine with excellent intensity, vibrant acidity, and balanced alcohol levels, perfect for lovers of crisp, mineral-driven wines.
Limestone Terroir & Organic Vineyard Practices
The vineyard’s unique limestone-rich soil, with some of the highest active limestone content in the Rhône region, imparts remarkable energy, elegance, and lightness to the wine. Thanks to sustainable organic farming and the use of estate-produced compost, the soils have been revitalised for optimal vine health. Certified organic, these vines benefit from massale selection stock originating from Condrieu and Hermitage, known for producing refined white Rhône wines.
Traditional Wild Yeast Fermentation & Aging
Fermented naturally with indigenous wild yeasts, this blend was aged in a careful balance of demi-muids, small oak barrels, and stainless-steel vats. This traditional winemaking method enhances layers of complexity and texture, delivering a crisp yet subtly nuanced finish.
