Discover the exceptional Croft Vintage Port 2017, a luxurious red dessert wine crafted from one of the driest vintages in Douro Valley history. Harvested from the prestigious Quinta da Roêda vineyard, this vintage Port boasts an early-picked, densely concentrated profile, making it one of the finest expressions of Croft in recent years.
Harvest & Winemaking
The 2017 growing season in the Douro was defined by a dry spring and a hot summer, leading to early budburst and véraison. Harvest began on August 31st, the earliest in over 70 years. Grapes from the oldest vines produced musts of exceptional richness, with thick skins contributing to remarkable depth and structure.
