Discover the exquisite Chateau Musar White 2018, a premium Lebanese white wine crafted from the ancient Obaideh and Merwah grape varieties. This exceptional vintage reflects the unique terroir of the Anti-Lebanon Mountains, where vineyards at 1,300 meters elevation produce grapes aged 50 to 90 years, resulting in a rare and complex wine experience.
Exceptional Vintage Conditions
The 2018 harvest began with abundant winter rainfall and snowfall, providing natural vineyard irrigation. Moderate spring rains supported healthy vine growth, while a warm summer, including a brief August heatwave, concentrated the grapes’ flavours. This careful balance of climate conditions ensures a refined, structured, and aromatic wine.
Traditional Lebanese Winemaking
Chateau Musar White 2018 is crafted using a traditional Lebanese vinification process, with Obaideh and Merwah grapes gently pressed and fermented in new French oak barrels for nine months. The wine is then expertly blended, cold-stabilised, and bottled to preserve its distinctive character, making it a prized selection for wine collectors and enthusiasts.
Tasting Notes – Fresh, Zesty, and Complex
