Carefully hand-harvested and partially dried on the vine, the Nero di Troia grapes used for Canace 2022 deliver a powerful yet refined flavour profile. After a long maceration and controlled fermentation, the wine matures for 8 months in concrete tanks, followed by 12 months in French oak barrels, resulting in a structured and age-worthy red wine.
Expect deep ruby red colour with violet reflections, and a complex bouquet of ripe red berries, warm spices, cocoa, coffee, and hints of liquorice. On the palate, it is full-bodied yet smooth, with velvety tannins, vibrant acidity, and a lingering spicy finish.
