Vineyard & Vintage Insights
The 2024 growing season delivered a rainy winter, mild spring, and warm summer, ideal for ripening this signature field blend. Harvest occurred from late August through mid September. After fermentation and malolactic, the parcels were aged for 13 months in a mix of American oak barrels, highlighting Ridge’s minimal intervention philosophy.
Why This Wine Is Special
The 2024 Geyserville Vineyard continues Ridge’s tradition of producing complex, age worthy red wines with a unique sense of place. Its inclusion of Carignane and Petite Sirah alongside Zinfandel creates structure, acidity, and spice complexity rarely found in mass market Zins.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
