The bouquet of wildflowers is suitably intense, fresh and elegant, the palette showing hints of apples and pears. A sophisticated mousse shows a persistent flurry of tiny bubbles.

Vibrant and racy fruit, bready yeast flavours and zesty appley freshness is accompanied by the waxed-lemon flavours of Chenin Blanc - a variety so clearly suited for sparkling production due to its fine acidity. The 20% Chardonnay adds fruitiness and depth. Owned by Bollinger, Langlois-Chateau has similarly exacting standards. This wine has a minimum of two years ageing in bottle before release.
